Sunday at Fourth
We are down (sadly) to our last three Sundays with Pastor McLachlan as our Pastor. Every Sunday and every service seems special. Pastor's last Sunday will be May 20th. While we have a very capable Pastoral staff - Dave Levy, Jason Stamper, Gil Sedden, and Roger Kilian - a Pastoral search committee has been organized with the purpose of replacing our Senior Pastor.
Today's highlights:
- Pastor McLachlan's message was from 1 Timothy 3:15: "but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth."
- David Charpie lead the choir and the congregation sung his composition Reconciled.
Kathee has to make a Home Depot run. We have some nasty caterpillars on two of our short evergreens. I think this is the third consecutive year we've had then. They are voracious destroyers and we need to wipe them out first. We had quite a bit of wind overnight. Kathee is out picking up blown down willow limbs. I will be mowing as soon as she is done.
Tonight: Back to Fourth for our communion service. Roger should be back from USMC reserves after church.
