Strong parenting example

Last evening we were relaxing in the living room when a small rock loudly cracked against our patio door. One of our cats was sleeping by the door and she, of course, jumped up with a start.

Kathee looked out the back window and saw 2 boys in the back yard of the house behind us. She walked out on the patio and recovered a quarter sized rock.

I drove my pickup truck around the block and parked at my back neighbor's house. M___ answered the door and I explained the situation.

Later her ten year old son came to my front door and apologized. He actually did not come all the way to the front door; he inched towards the door and when my Brother saw him, he invited him in. B____ did come in. He looked very scared. I turned off my old man intimidation and welcomed him in. He came in and apologized!

I was very impressed that M_____ would send her son over to do this! I commend her for her strong parenting!
