Likely to hit a deer? Crash risks by state

Comment: Fingers crossed .... never had one and we have lived in Minnesota for 17 years. Also have lived in Michigan and Pennsylvania.

    I had a deer run into my pickup once--they grazed the side while I was driving MN 5 towards Victoria. Almost got a couple a week back, too.

    I also consider myself extremely fortunate to have never been involved in a deer collision. I figure it's only a matter of time though.
