Life and Work
I finally received all approvals for our daytime upgrade activity that commences tomorrow at noon. This is to upgrade 1400 workstations. Altogether over the next week we are targeting 4000 workstations (this is getting tiresome - I was supposed to have this completed by the end of October).
Microsoft has a patch for Outlook client and servers that adjusts to the new daylight savings time date (March 11th). Its a big deal upgrading all of our workstations. It commences a week from Tuesday. Any workstation not upgraded will be out of synch for calendar items. We expect a lot of calls to the help desk.
I had coffee with Scott today - always a highlight of the week. He is shopping for a new 28' boat.
Kathee and I read Leviticus 11 & 12 tonight. 11 is foods permitted and forbidden. Crickets were ok! (I had a chocolate-covered cricket once! But I was tricked into it!)
Luke 2:22-24 refers to Lev 12:8, "Now when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were completed, they brought Him to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord (as it is written in the law of the Lord, “Every male who opens the womb shall be called holy to the LORD”), and to offer a sacrifice according to what is said in the law of the Lord, “A pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons.”"
