Kathee's White Chili recipe
2 (4oz) cans | Green Chilies |
3 (15oz) cans | Great Northern Beans (drained) |
1 lb | Cooked Chicken Breast (cubed) |
1 cup | Yellow Onion (chopped) |
1/2 teaspoon (TSP) | Garlic Powder |
2 TSP | Cumin |
1/2 TSP | Salt |
1/2 TSP | Oregano |
3 1/2 cups | Chicken Broth |
Sour Cream | |
flour tortillas or tortilla chips | |
Shredded Monterey Jack or Pepper Jack cheese |
Combine all ingredients except last three in a crock pot or stock pot on a stove. In crock pot cook for 8-10 hours on low or 4-5 hours on high. Or on the stove cook for 1 hour.
Serve with sour cream, tortillas / chips, and top with cheese
For a lower calorie meal, skip the sour cream, chips, and cheese
