Have you read anything on the 36 states (as of yesterday) that have or will pass state legislation, in some form or another, to block the health care bill. Idaho, for example, signed a bill that instructs the Attorney General to go to court to protect the rights of Idaho citizens. Arizona, from my understanding, is looking to amend their constitution.
ReplyDeleteAnother thing that is interesting that I was reading earlier today is if there is a possibility of amending the US constitution. I don't know all the details on how that takes place, but I did read it takes 38 states to ratify one. (36 states have or are in the process of passing legislation to prevent the bill. 2 more would be 38. Obviously, just because they are passing legislation doesn't mean they would be willing to amend the US Constitution, though)
