Rottweilers chased mom, girl into van, then went after cops

Sgt. Chris Larrabee said the 37-year-old woman was house-sitting for a friend who owns the dogs when she and her daughter were attacked by at least one and pursued by all three.

The woman heard her daughter screaming on the first floor of the house, ran up from the basement and saw one of the Rottweilers biting the little girl.

"In the scuffle, she grabbed her daughter and the dog ended up starting to attack her," Larrabee said.

The woman and child ran outside to their van, and the woman called 911 on a cell phone. When officers arrived, the three Rottweilers were circling the van and the woman was going into shock, Larrabee said.
