N.H. tax evaders taken into custody after standoff

You know how I feel about this from the title! Just pay your taxes! Get over it! The couple in the above article, Ed and Elaine Brown, did not evade taxes on "Christian" principles .. they are just egregious scofflaws (I love that word: "scofflaw" ... to scoff at the law)!

Ken Hovind is a Christian minister who is now blogging away while serving a ten-year term in Federal Correctional Institution, Edgefield in Edgefield, South Carolina, for 58 tax offenses, obstructing federal agents and related charges.

I don't feel sorry for any of the tax scofflaws! Just pay your taxes like the rest of us!

Feds tricked holed-up tax evaders

U.S. marshals posing as supporters talked their way into the fortress-like New Hampshire home of convicted tax evaders Ed and Elaine Brown, then calmly took them into custody, authorities said.

"They invited us in, and we escorted them out," U.S. Marshal Stephen Monier said at a news conference on Friday.
