Pawlenty radio ad urges lawmakers not to raise taxes

The Republican governor's campaign committee released a radio ad this morning to highlight DFL proposals to raise income and gas taxes. The ad is running statewide.

Pawlenty urged listeners to call their lawmakers and tell them not to raise taxes.

The Democrat-led Senate approved an income tax increase for the highest-paid filers last weekend, and a similar bill is being considered in the House. Both chambers have also approved dime-a-gallon hikes in the gas tax.
