ReplyDeleteBall (base ball, rubber ball, basketball, football, etc). A young boy can have hours of fun with a ball.
A tent: What fun we had with an old WWII army pup-tent. Camping out in the old back yard!
Bicycle. Dad's tools. Pocketknife. (oops, time to get to the emergency room!) :^)
ReplyDeleteMy Dad had all this electical, radio and TV equipment (vacuum tubes, etc). We loved playing (experimenting) with his stuff.
ReplyDeleteFun stuff we did: building an electic motor, crystal radio, wired phones, electric magnet, etc.
Whittling with a pocket knife. All I every really "made" was a pile of shavings but it was fun!
ReplyDeleteBefore my time (my childhood) but Legos is a great "toy". I loved watching my boys build with Legos.
ReplyDeleteMy brother and I spent hours upon hours with Legos. The most fun we had was creating our own things, not following the directions to make pre-designed toys.
