Jeb Bush on the candidates

- Mitt Romney: "Intellectual curiosity. . .He's incredibly smart and asks the questions necessary to find that common ground for the next challenges we face, which politics is not very good at right now."
- Mike Huckabee: "I like him. He's a great speaker and clear-minded about the importance of moral principles."
Comment: Good summary. If Jeb's last name were not "Bush", he could be running himself!
Jim,
ReplyDeleteYour comment about Jeb running is dead on. I told my wife almost a year ago as I was thinking about the possibilities for this year's election (and not being too impressed with the names people were throwing around) that Jeb would be a great choice - but that there is no way he could do it now because of the negatives of being the brother of the current President (and I generally support GWB).
A conservative governor from an important "swing state" who is still very popular in his home state. Alas, he is a Bush and would therefore have no chance this election.
