VW's right and GM is wrong as long as the EPA believes NOX emissions are critical--as long as that is true, diesel is going to require things like urea injection, and it will have a $4-8k premium over gas with lower acceleration.
ReplyDeleteAdd to that the fact that gas engines last a quarter of a million miles or more these days if well cared for, and I just don't see much advantage for diesel.
Why did VW change their logo to have the little space between the V and the W? I don't remember any announcements on this. They must have changed it quietly.
