Roger's USMC PFT

Roger had his annual USMC Physical Fitness Test today and these are his results

1. He ran 3 miles in 25.5 minutes (must be done in less than 28 minutes)
   
2. He did 18 pull ups and
   
3. 100 crunches (sit ups)
   

Full house tonight: It's rare when all the kids are here for dinner and tonight was one of those nights. Kathee had made a huge pot of chili and we finished it off.

1. Rachel arrived home from Mankato and will be with us for 4 weeks (she will be working at West Thompson for 4 weeks over Winter break
   
2. Nathan called at 11:30 and left a message on our answering machine that he would be with us for dinner. We did not notice the message and were surprised when he arrived at 5:30
   
3. Roger got back from USMC reserves at 5:45

We read Genesis 35 & 36 tonight (36 is a difficult read. Kathee and I alternate and as our routine sorted out tonight, I read 35 and she read 36)

Genesis 35:11 (God's covenant with Israel): "I am God Almighty. Be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall proceed from you, and kings shall come from your body. 12 The land which I gave Abraham and Isaac I give to you; and to your descendants after you I give this land."
