Recovering from Back Surgery

• The above is not my image but is a general image of a synovial cyst in the lumbar region
• My cyst was at L2/L3 and was 10 mm (.27 inches) in size
• The symptoms were manifold: pain in stepping with my right foot, weakness in right thigh, and pain in the back
• I had the surgery yesterday at Abbott Northwestern at 8:30 am
• I came home today at noonish
• I have a 3" incision in my back w 12 stitches
• I am not uncomfortable except when I move.
• I'm supposed to lay low for 2 weeks until the stitches come out.
