A humdinger of an earthquake!
Comment: I'm a futurist on the Book of Revelation (I believe the events of Revelation 6 to the end of the book are future.) Why am I a futurist? Answer: Revelation 1:19, "Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this" AND Revelation 4:1, "Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this"

I cannot even fathom an earthquake of that magnitude, let alone the ones on that list. My family was in a very minor one in California once. We were camping at a beach with our tent-trailer when it started to shake. A house up on a hill actually caught fire, somehow.
ReplyDeleteAnother time was in AZ. We felt the tremors of an earthquake in CA. I walked into our home and all the doors were shaking. I turned on the news to hear it was an earthquake from CA.
My wife experienced an earthquake when she was in San Fran on business.
ReplyDeleteIf you ever get the opportunity visit New Madrid, Missouri. There is a small but interesting museum there about the 1812 New Madrid earthquake.
Last time I was in San Fran I took along a book about the 1906 San Francisco earthquake. I visited some sites near my hotel that had markers about that quake.
