Brother's 53rd Birthday

My younger brother, Roger, is 53 today! Congratulations.

Tonight celebrating at their house after work.

Many of my earliest memories center on his birth way back in 1953:

1. Older sister Nancy and I stayed at Aunt Eleanor's and Uncle Jim's in Alto Michigan.
   
2. I shopped with Aunt Eleanor (or walked to the store with her) for a gift for Roger
   
3. Nancy and I played in the bushes outside the hospital while Dad went into to get Mom and Roger (comment .. those were simplier times! Kids of 4 and 7 could be left alone on the hospital grounds without fear ... today you would never do that.
