Farrakhan on Obama: 'The Messiah is absolutely speaking'

Excerpt:

Farrakhan proclaims:

"You are the instruments that God is going to use to bring about universal change, and that is why Barack has captured the youth. And he has involved young people in a political process that they didn't care anything about. That's a sign. When the Messiah speaks, the youth will hear, and the Messiah is absolutely speaking."

Comment: Scary stuff!

  1. Wow.........

Although, times are tough and people are looking for strong leadership and I can see how people can be attracted to a strong, charismatic personality like Obama, even though I disagree with him and am basically the opposite.

"The falling stock market reflects the mood of the country as a whole. Confidence in the system is at an all-time low. The government has lost the moral authority to rule. People have lost faith in everything. Bush has created a tinder box which could explode in flames at any time. It is a dangerous situation.".......not my words, but I think they ring true. It's from an article an another site. I hope it doesn't get this bad:

"The biggest danger we face in the short term, is a run on the financial system. Calm must be restored if we want to avoid another depression. Investors have already pulled a record $72 billion from stock and mutual funds, and put the money in US Treasurys and government-insured bank deposits. If the trend continues, the financial system will collapse. This is where leadership and credibility really matter. The Bush administration’s record on these issues is dismal. If the government overreacts and limits bank withdrawals or closes the stock market; the sense of desperation and panic will only grow. That increases the likelihood of rioting and violence, which is what took place in China just this week."

Am I part of the problem by even repeating sentiments such as this? I hope not. Perhaps this is the most extreme example and it's silly to even bring up such things because it can cause further distrust in the system. That's not my intent.

  2. JP, thanks for all the work you put into your interesting website. Will you have plenty of time next week to add even more because you're off on Monday?............are you off on Tuesday as well???

  3. JP, I was trying to be funny, although it's not really funny. The reason I asked about if you're at work on Tuesday is because there are some crazy thoughts running around out there that we might have another banking holiday just like we did in the Big One (Great Depression).
