The Quran, chapter 4 (An-Nisa), verse 34

But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance - [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them.

  1. How does your son-in-law do with this one? Or have you dared? Or, for that matter, your daughter?

    Side note is that I think most guys with just one wife would have trouble implementing the second step. (maybe that's why so many rich Muslims had harems?)
