I have about 45 years of experience in the IBM 360 world starting with Fortran programming on an IBM 360/65 back in college. Additionally I worked for IBM from 1974 until 1977. I received the above commemorative coin at work in April.Comment: Image below is from the Wikipedia article

One of my IBM classes: We had to prepare an IPL "pack" and bring up a system with multile partitions.
ReplyDeleteIn various BCP events early in my Norwest career I would bring up the system (IPL). Also we had a test system that we could "mess around with" and IPL. Very much fun.
