When we were in Dallas two weeks ago, we visited my Dad's grave.
His gravestone is flush with the ground (easier for mowing!). His stone had slightly subsided. As a result, sediment from a recently opened grave site had washed down hill a bit and covered my Dad's stone. Kathee used her shoe to clean off the stone the best she could (we could have really used a stiff whisk broom!)
Last Monday I called the cemetery and asked that they raise Dad's marker so that the sediment would wash past the stone.
Today they called to say that the work had been done! And oh there was a single spot available next to Dad's grave and did I want it!
This is the Blog of a guy who retired from a major financial institution in technology. I chose the title "Cold Fusion Guy" because I love programming in Cold Fusion
