Comment: I saw (and experienced) one of these in Arizona once when I was in Phoenix on business. I was driving a rental Mustang and the car was pelted with dust. I had to slow to a crawl and sometimes completely stop.

Haboob! I grew up in Phoenix. Those are awesome to see especially watching the news when they show it from air and just how tall and long they are.
