Wells Fargo - Wachovia merger?

Kovacevich also told the news service that the San Francisco bank could one day merge with an East Coast rival.

Having survived the Wells Fargo - Norwest merger, this would be fascinating but stressful!

    If that merger were to take place, then I would leave. I have already had enough bad experiences with Wachovia and its predecessor, First Union.

    I like WF and hope that it stays put and does not try to merge with anyone else!
